Thank you for supporting Kehilah over the past couple of months! While the end of the year has looked quite different from what we imagined, we appreciate your continued partnership as we have navigated the creation of a virtual program for our children. We are grateful for your encouragement and commitment to our children’s Jewish education and engagement.
With closing days upon us, we want to remind you that the Kehilah team, as well as Temple’s clergy and staff, remain your partners in bringing Jewish education and engagement to your children and teens all year long.
Like you, we are watching the continuous conversations about what is and what is not safe, and when it will be safe to come out to play, learn, work and worship together again. And at this point, no one can say for certain what the situation will be in September. Even so, we have begun the process of planning for a range of options for September.
We anticipate that we will find ourselves in one of three basic scenarios in September:
Which one will depend entirely on protecting the health and safety of our learners, educators, staff and families. And if the situation changes, we will be flexible enough to shift from one mode to another.
So on to 5781 and the fall!
In order to properly prepare, we need to get a real sense of how many learners we will have. So we are asking you to begin the enrollment process now.
Thank you for your continued support and flexibility as we move through these uncertain times. Wishing all of you good health and peace as we all look forward to an exciting year.
