Our 160^th Anniversary/Shabbat Shirah (the Sabbath of Song)/Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend

Tonight we celebrate Shabbat at the site of Temple’s home from 1911 – 1958,
New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 Park Avenue.

New Hope Missionary Baptist Church is handicap accessible.  You go in the front door, take the ramp, and then use the elevator.  The Fellowship Hall is accessible there as well.

Carpooling is encouraged by meeting up and leaving your car in the temple parking lot which will be watched by our security guard.

Parking at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church:

Drive South down Park Avenue. On the right, opposite the church, is their parking lot which is marked “Private Parking – Church Property.”

When that lot is full, continue down Park Avenue and make a right at the light on to Laurel Avenue and a quick left into St. John’s parking lot which has also been reserved for us.

Bridgeport Police Officers will be present to help everyone cross Park Avenue.

There will be no service at the temple tonight.
