Please join us for our 2nd Annual Shabbat About Town on Friday, November 2nd!
The cornerstone of Shabbat About Town is to connect with new and old friends in the comfort of congregants’ homes. We will gather as neighbors, friends, and temple members in small groups to enjoy each other’s company and share Shabbat dinner together. Everyone, children and adults, are welcome to take part in this special and fun evening of community, either as a Guest or a Host! There is no charge for this event.
Be a Guest! Enjoy a casual Shabbat dinner at a fellow congregant’s home. Your host will contact you with the evening details.
Be a Host! Open your home to congregants and serve a Shabbat meal. For those attending Friday evening services, dinner time will follow and for families with younger children, we look forward to your participation and will accommodate an earlier schedule. The menu is your choice; it can be as casual as a pizza or as creative as your imagination allows. We will provide you with a helpful “Shabbat Kit” to help you plan the evening.
