April 3, 2016 - 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Congregation B’nai Israel will hold its first annual Paper Shredding & Computer Destruction fundraiser on Sunday, April 3rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (rain or shine). This event is open to the public and sponsored by Congregation B’nai Israel. All net proceeds will benefit the general operations of the synagogue.
This is a perfect way to safely rid your home of old bank statements, checks, check registers or tax documents (and the like), and those old, unused computers. Simply place unwanted documents in a box – paper clips, staples and all – and drive to the parking lot of Congregation B’nai Israel. You can bring as many boxes as you can fit in your car, with no weight limits. Volunteers will be on hand to assist you. The event is an easy, fast and affordable way to safely destroy your private documents.
Costs: $10 per small box fee or $20 for larger banker boxes — cash only.
Hard drive destruction and computer recycling for a flat fee of $20 per item.
The actual shredding and electronics destruction, will be performed on-site by Affordable Solutions, LLC, a fully licensed company out of Orange.
B’nai Israel will also hold a Bake Sale event to add a little fun to the day.
