Join Ira Wise for our annual Yom Kippur afternoon learning session. Each year a large group gathers in the library in between the morning and afternoon services to wrestle with a few texts and some ideas that are part of the High Holy Day experience. This year, we will focus on gratitude, introspection and T’shuvah (repentance). Some of us may choose to participate in the 10Q project (see article on page 7 of the August bulletin). Others will not. Our conversation will be designed to help us think about what we each need to do to make the Holy Days personally fulfilling and prepare us for a fresh start in 5779. No reservations required, just drop into the library.
